Triggers
What is smplr?
Smplr is a simple start page.
How do I use it?
Smplr uses "triggers" to fire off search queries or to launch a website. By default, your queries will go to google. Triggers are a small bit of text that, when appended with a colon, preface your search queries. To search for smplr at yahoo, you only need to type "y: smplr" and press enter. To open a url, google for instance, type "go: google.com" or "go: http://google.com". A full list of triggers that smplr supports is above.
I want a new trigger!
Suggest a trigger below and if I find it suitable I will add it. (More likely than not I will add all requested triggers.) However, "offensive" triggers may be added to the system and not added to the public list. I'll let you know via email if that is the case.
Themes
Just a few notes: IE is bad, but you should know that. Smplr requires a CSS/XHTML standards compliant browser. Smplr does not monitor your activities nor does it retain any information on you, all search queries are passed immediately through to their final destination. Smplr was developed and is managed by Nik at ScaryLittleMonkey.
